Cinema in the Hall

St. George's Hall    

Unless otherwise stated Cinema in the Hall screenings start at 7:30 pm and the doors and bar open at 7:00 pm.

You can reserve and pay for your tickets in advance online or in person from the Hall café. We use a ticketless system and there is no need to print your ticket details as your details will be on a list at the door.

Please note that we use the Stripe Secure Card payment system to process online payments and have no access to your financial details.

Set in 1970, this  gentle comedy drama is about an unpopular private-school teacher who stays behind to supervise a difficult student unable to go home for Christmas. Head cook Mary joins them. She is an African-American whose son was killed in Vietnam.
